As you may know (if local to us), we are the only amateur cricket club in Headingley, Leeds with over 140 years of history. Our club continues to grow and now comprises of sixteen senior league teams (more than any other cricket club in Yorkshire!), which includes our two women’s teams. We also have a thriving junior section which offers the first steps into cricket for both boys and girls starting from 5 years old. As a result, we currently have over 500 individuals who are closely associated with our club.

As well as several trophies in recent years (including another two league titles last season), we have also introduced over 500 local children to cricket for the first time through our All Stars and Dynamos programmes, started our new women and girls’ section, and are currently completing our new pavilion which will be used by both our members and the local community. These are exciting times for us, and we would really like you to be involved with our successful and rapidly growing club, as we believe your business can benefit from a partnership with us.

As the new cricket season approaches (it will be here before we know it), we thought we would reach out to see if your business would be so kind as to consider sponsoring our club. If so, our most popular packages are:

• Ground Sponsor (£300) - You can design (and we will pay for) a 6 x 2 foot advertising board which will be prominently displayed at all our senior and junior home games. We have in the region of 100 home games scheduled for the forthcoming season, so at only £3 per game, this is excellent value for money.

• Digital Sponsor (£100) - You will appear on our award winning website (25,000 page views per year), our various social media channels (500,000 reach per year), our sponsors screen (on permanent display in our new pavilion) and our new notice board on Otley Road in Headingley (5,000,000 vehicle passes per year).

• Match Ball Sponsor (£25) - You will be allocated a home game where you can distribute information on your business, and you will also appear on our club website during the week leading up to the game.

As well as the three main packages detailed above, we are also able to create bespoke packages for your business.

Our club was the first in the area to embrace innovative match day video, and in addition to the above, you will also be allocated a home game where your business will be promoted on screen. Each game will be available to view in full on our new YouTube channel and clips will also appear on our social media throughout the game. A highlights package will also be available to watch after the game, both online and in our new pavilion.

No other local amateur sports club can offer this level of sponsorship for such exceptional value, and we will work with you to ensure your business and your brand receives the exposure you are looking for through our club.

The funds we raise from sponsorship will mainly be used for our junior section. We pride ourselves on having one of the largest junior sections in the area, but we need to improve the playing facilities, purchase more equipment, and provide additional coaches as we attract more and more boys and girls every year. We have been awarded Clubmark status for the past 21 years for providing a safe, effective and child friendly environment and we need to maintain our standards to retain this accreditation, but this does come at a financial cost to the club. The funds will also be used for our new pavilion, which will shortly be open to the local community as well as our many members, giving your business even more exposure for no extra cost.
